Adoptee from Ukraine (1977) searching for birth family

I'm an adult adoptee searching for my biological family. I was born in Odesa around 1977 and placed for adoption shortly after birth. From what I've been able to learn, I was in the care of a private adoption agency in Odesa before being adopted. I don't know much about my birth family. The adoption records mention a young couple who wanted more for their child than they could provide. I don't judge them. I understand that it must have been an impossible situation. Recently I started searching in earnest. Social media, DNA databases, adoption reunion registries — I'm casting as wide a net as possible. If you are my birth father, or if you know someone from Odesa who placed a child for adoption around 1977, please know: I am doing well. I am at peace. I would love nothing more than to know you, but I respect whatever boundaries you need. I promised myself I would find them before it's too late.
