Looking for Esperanza — lost during border crossing 2013

It has been 13 years since I last held my friend Esperanza's hand. We were separated, and I have been searching ever since. After years of struggling to make ends meet, the decision to leave was made. Esperanza was 37 years old at the time. The separation happened because of the family was separated during immigration enforcement in Houston. What I miss most is staying up late telling stories by flashlight when the power went out. Someone who knew them mentioned seeing them in 2024. Since then, complete silence. Esperanza would be around 50 years old now. Last I saw them, they were small-framed but tough, with sharp features. The not knowing is worse than any bad news could be. If anyone has any information about Esperanza, please reach out. Any detail, no matter how small, could bring us back together.
