Please help me find Monica, my friend — somewhere in the USA

I'm searching for Monica, my friend. They emigrated from Ambato in 2015 and we gradually lost contact. The economic crisis forced many families apart when members left to find work in the United States. At 30, Monica was old enough to know the risks but young enough to believe it was worth it. The first year was full of phone calls and video chats. Monica showed us their tiny apartment in New Jersey, introduced us to their coworkers, talked about their plans. We felt connected despite the distance. The messages suddenly stopped in 2024. We heard through a mutual acquaintance that Monica had moved to a different city, but we don't know which one. I still remember walking to school together every morning, rain or shine with Monica. I hold onto those moments like a lifeline. Monica would be around 41 now. tall for the family, around 5'10", with an easy grin. The not knowing is worse than any bad news could be.
