Searching for my birth family from South Korea, adopted in 1978

I was adopted from Incheon in 1978 and brought to Los Angeles. My adoptive parents gave me everything I could have asked for, but there's a piece of my story that's missing. I was placed through a non-profit adoption service. The records are incomplete, but I know I came from Incheon. I don't know much about my birth family. The adoption records mention a young couple who made the incredibly difficult decision to give me a chance at a different life. I don't judge them. I understand that it must have been an impossible situation. I've connected with other adoptees from South Korea through support groups. Some have found their families. I'm hoping I will too. If you are my birth mother, or if you know someone from Incheon who placed a child for adoption around 1978, please know: I am doing well. I am at peace. I would love nothing more than to know you, but I respect whatever boundaries you need. My mother prays for them every single night.
