Searching for my friend Marisol, separated at the US border in 2001

It has been 25 years since I last held my friend Marisol's hand. We were separated, and I have been searching ever since. The economy back home left us no choice — we had to seek a better life. Marisol was 10 years old at the time. Everything fell apart during crossing the border near Houston. The thing that haunts me is remembering fishing trips to the river, where we never caught anything but always had fun. There was a brief call in 2013. Since then, complete silence. Marisol would be around 35 years old now. I'd recognize them anywhere — petite, around 5'2", with straight dark hair. I've never stopped looking. I never will.
