Searching for my mother Hamza, separated during the Syria conflict

My mother, Hamza, and I were separated during the conflict in Idlib in 2013. I have spent every moment since trying to find them. In the chaos of the evacuation, we lost each other in the crowd. During a barrel bomb attack on our street, Hamza was separated from the rest of us. I remember Hamza as someone who loved to cook traditional dishes for everyone. I cherish the memory of dancing in the kitchen to old records that belonged to our grandparents. The messages suddenly stopped in 2022. A fellow refugee mentioned seeing someone matching their description in a camp near Calgary. Hamza would now be approximately 37 years old. I would recognize them anywhere — small-framed but tough, with sharp features. My mother prays for them every single night. If anyone has information about Hamza, I beg you to contact us.
