Zoryana — last seen in Kyiv during the 2023 attacks

My father, Zoryana, and I were separated during the attack on Kyiv in 2023. The war turned our lives upside down overnight. When the missile strike that hit our building, communications collapsed. Zoryana, who was 54, was last known to be near Kyiv. The evacuation routes kept changing and we ended up in different convoys. I made it to Poland through Romania. From Warsaw, I've been contacting every refugee organization, every volunteer group, every social media page dedicated to finding missing Ukrainians. Zoryana was about 5'8", medium build, with dark hair and brown eyes. They had a tattoo of a bird on the left forearm. Before the war, Zoryana and I shared a simple but good life in Kyiv. walking to school together every morning, rain or shine — those memories keep me going.
