Looking for Khadija — refugee from Deir ez-Zor, possibly in United Kingdom

When the bombs started falling on Deir ez-Zor in 2020, my cousin Khadija and I ran in different directions. That was the last time I saw them. We were crammed into an overcrowded boat crossing the Mediterranean. During the bombing of our neighborhood, Khadija was separated from the rest of us. Khadija was 45 years old when we last saw each other. Without them, our family has never been the same. A friend saw them around 2025. We heard a rumor they had been resettled in United Kingdom, but nothing concrete. Khadija would now be approximately 51 years old. I would recognize them anywhere — broad-shouldered, strong hands, with a weathered face. There's a hole in our family that only they can fill. If anyone has information about Khadija, I beg you to contact us. War took everything from us. Please don't let it take this last chance.
