Looking for Sami — refugee from Latakia, possibly in United Kingdom

I lost my mother Sami during the evacuation of Latakia in 2011. The crowd swallowed them whole. We walked for days through the desert to reach the border. When when the tanks rolled through our district happened, everything changed in an instant. I remember Sami as someone who never lost hope even when everything seemed lost. I cherish the memory of staying up late telling stories by flashlight when the power went out. There was a brief call in 2025. We heard a rumor they had been resettled in United Kingdom, but nothing concrete. Sami would now be approximately 42 years old. I would recognize them anywhere — broad-shouldered, strong hands, with a weathered face. I just need to know they're alive. That would be enough.
