My brother Mustafa, separated by war in 2005

In 2005, the war tore my family apart in Fallujah. My brother, Mustafa, was lost in the chaos and I have never found them. We were crammed into an overcrowded boat crossing the Mediterranean. When the airstrike that leveled our block happened, everything changed in an instant. I remember Mustafa as someone who prayed for peace every single day. I cherish the memory of sitting on the porch watching the sunset, not saying much but feeling everything. Our last contact was 2015. The Red Cross/Red Crescent had no records. UNHCR tracing turned up nothing. Mustafa would now be approximately 31 years old. They were petite, around 5'2", with straight dark hair, with a chipped front tooth that gave a character to the smile. I just need to know they're alive. That would be enough.
