My sister Ibrahim, separated by war in 2023

I am searching for Ibrahim, my sister. We were living in Hama when the conflict forced us apart in 2023. The journey to safety took weeks through war zones and checkpoints. When the bombing of our neighborhood happened, everything changed in an instant. I remember Ibrahim as someone who loved to cook traditional dishes for everyone. I cherish the memory of the way they would hum while doing chores around the house. Our last contact was 2024. A fellow refugee mentioned seeing someone matching their description in a camp near Birmingham. Ibrahim would now be approximately 55 years old. They were compact build, thick eyebrows, always well-groomed, with a chipped front tooth that gave a character to the smile.
