I am searching for Rami, my sister. We were living in Homs when the conflict forced us apart in 2017.
We walked for days through the desert to reach the border. Rami was with us until the very last moment before the night the militants entered our town.
Rami was 17 years old when we last saw each other. Without them, our family has never been the same.
The last time we heard anything was 2019. Someone told us they might have made it to Montreal, but we could never confirm it.
