Searching for Ayaan, my father who moved to United Kingdom in 2003

I've been looking for my father Ayaan since 2003. This platform is my latest attempt to bridge the gap that opened when they left. The political situation made life impossible. My family made the difficult decision to leave. Ayaan was 27 at the time, full of hope and determination. Communication was sporadic but hopeful. Ayaan described London as overwhelming but full of opportunity. They were working hard, sleeping little, but always asking about everyone back home. Our last contact was 2012. Someone from our community said they'd seen Ayaan in London a while back, but couldn't remember exactly when. Ayaan was the kind of person who would always put family first, no matter what.
