Valentina, my friend, was separated from us near Washington DC

I'm searching for Valentina, who is my friend. We lost each other in 2016 and I have never stopped looking. The drought destroyed everything. The fields were dead and so was our hope of staying. At the time, Valentina was just 22. We were caught up in the chaos at the border processing center in Washington DC. I remember Sunday mornings when the whole family would cook together with Valentina. We lost all communication in 2020. Every lead has gone cold. Valentina would be around 32 years old now. Last I saw them, they were medium height, athletic build, with a distinctive walk. The holidays are the hardest — their empty chair at the table speaks volumes.
