4 years searching for my friend Adebayo from Baidoa

I've been looking for my friend Adebayo since 2022. This platform is my latest attempt to bridge the gap that opened when they left. The conflict in our region displaced our entire community. Back then, Adebayo was 45 years old and believed the separation would be short. We stayed in touch through phone calls and the occasional letter. Adebayo spoke of life in Columbus — the challenges of adapting, the loneliness, but also the small victories. A friend saw them around 2025. After that, silence. No calls, no messages, nothing. What I miss most is sitting on the porch watching the sunset, not saying much but feeling everything. Adebayo would be around 49 today. short and stocky, with a round face and kind eyes.
