Born in Incheon, adopted to United States — looking for biological parents

I was adopted from Incheon in 2007 and brought to Minneapolis. My adoptive parents gave me everything I could have asked for, but there's a piece of my story that's missing. I was placed through a local orphanage. The records are incomplete, but I know I came from Incheon. Growing up, I always felt something was missing. Not love — my adoptive family gave me plenty of that. But identity. Where do my eyes come from? My laugh? My stubborn streak? These are questions only my birth family can answer. Recently I started searching in earnest. Social media, DNA databases, adoption reunion registries — I'm casting as wide a net as possible. If you are my birth father, or if you know someone from Incheon who placed a child for adoption around 2007, please know: I am doing well. I am at peace. I would love nothing more than to know you, but I respect whatever boundaries you need. The holidays are the hardest — their empty chair at the table speaks volumes.
