Help me find my friend Pedro after 20 years apart

In 2006 near El Paso, I lost the person who meant the world to me — my friend, Pedro.
The drought destroyed everything. The fields were dead and so was our hope of staying. Pedro had just turned 25 when it happened.
Everything fell apart during deportation proceedings in El Paso.
What I miss most is the smell of fresh bread that would fill the kitchen every Saturday.
There was a brief call in 2018. Every lead has gone cold.
Pedro would be around 45 years old now. I'd recognize them anywhere — about 5'8", medium build, with dark hair and brown eyes.
My mother prays for them every single night. If anyone has any information about Pedro, please reach out. Any detail, no matter how small, could bring us back together.
