Looking for Carlos — lost during border crossing 1995

I'm searching for Carlos, who is my cousin. We lost each other in 1995 and I have never stopped looking. Violence in our hometown made staying impossible. Carlos had just turned 13 when it happened. We were caught up in crossing the border near Washington DC. I remember the smell of fresh bread that would fill the kitchen every Saturday with Carlos. Someone who knew them mentioned seeing them in 2025. After that, nothing. Carlos would be around 44 years old now. I'd recognize them anywhere — compact build, thick eyebrows, always well-groomed.
