Looking for my sister Abdi from Ethiopia — lost contact in 2025

It has been 6 years since my sister Abdi disappeared from our lives. I refuse to give up searching. Economic hardship forced many in our community to seek opportunities abroad. Abdi was 45 at the time, full of hope and determination. For the first 22 months, we received occasional calls. Abdi was working in restaurant kitchens in Minneapolis and seemed to be doing okay. They talked about sending money home, about eventually bringing us over. The last time we heard anything was 2025. The phone number was disconnected and we had no other way to reach them. I remember staying up late telling stories by flashlight when the power went out with Abdi. Those are the memories I hold onto. Abdi would be around 51 today. average height, lean build, with curly black hair. My children ask about them, and I don't have answers to give. Please, if you know anything about Abdi, reach out.
