Please help me find my friend Patricia, missing since 1998

My friend Patricia and I were separated in 1998 during what was supposed to be a routine stop near Dallas. That was the last time I saw them. We had been living peacefully for years when everything changed overnight. At the time, Patricia was just 33. The separation happened because of being detained at a checkpoint near Dallas. What I miss most is fishing trips to the river, where we never caught anything but always had fun. The messages suddenly stopped in 2022. After that, nothing. Patricia would be around 61 years old now. I'd recognize them anywhere — thin and wiry, always moved with quick energy. Sometimes I hear their voice in my dreams and wake up reaching for the phone. If anyone has any information about Patricia, please reach out. Even knowing they are alive would mean everything.
