Searching for my family member Ernesto, separated at the US border in 2001

In 2001 near New York, I lost the person who meant the world to me — my family member, Ernesto. My family had been targeted. We left in the middle of the night. Ernesto had just turned 48 when it happened. We were caught up in deportation proceedings in New York. What I miss most is the smell of fresh bread that would fill the kitchen every Saturday. The messages suddenly stopped in 2004. Since then, complete silence. Ernesto would be around 73 years old now. I'd recognize them anywhere — about 5'8", medium build, with dark hair and brown eyes.
