Marisol, my friend, was taken from our family in 1997 near Los Angeles. We have spent every day since trying to find any trace. My family had been targeted. We left in the middle of the night. Marisol was 30 years old at the time. The separation happened because of the chaos at the border processing center in Los Angeles.
