My cousin Ikenna emigrated in 2022 — we've been searching ever since

I'm searching for my cousin, Ikenna, who left Addis Ababa in 2022. We lost touch and I've been looking ever since. After losing everything in the flooding, migration was the only path forward. Ikenna was 31 at the time, full of hope and determination. Communication was sporadic but hopeful. Ikenna described Atlanta as overwhelming but full of opportunity. They were working hard, sleeping little, but always asking about everyone back home. A friend saw them around 2023. Someone from our community said they'd seen Ikenna in Atlanta a while back, but couldn't remember exactly when. I remember walking to school together every morning, rain or shine with Ikenna. Those are the memories I hold onto. Ikenna would be around 35 today. average height, lean build, with curly black hair. I still keep their photo in my wallet, worn and faded but precious.
