My sister Nadia, separated by war in 2007

When the bombs started falling on Kabul in 2007, my sister Nadia and I ran in different directions. That was the last time I saw them. The refugee camp became home for months before we could move on. Nadia was with us until the very last moment before the bombing of our neighborhood. Nadia was 44 years old when we last saw each other. Without them, our family has never been the same. The messages suddenly stopped in 2013. We heard a rumor they had been resettled in United Kingdom, but nothing concrete. Nadia would now be approximately 63 years old. I would recognize them anywhere — small-framed but tough, with sharp features. I've never stopped looking. I never will. If anyone has information about Nadia, I beg you to contact us.
