Searching for my family member Juan, separated at the US border in 2002

My family member Juan and I were separated in 2002 during what was supposed to be a routine stop near Miami. That was the last time I saw them. We joined the caravan hoping for safety in numbers. At the time, Juan was just 39. The separation happened because of attempting to cross through the desert near Miami. What I miss most is walking to school together every morning, rain or shine. There was a brief call in 2009. Every lead has gone cold. Juan would be around 63 years old now. I'd recognize them anywhere — short and stocky, with a round face and kind eyes. There's a hole in our family that only they can fill. If anyone has any information about Juan, please reach out. Any detail, no matter how small, could bring us back together.
